FAQs

Pet travel paperwork, made clearer.

Answers to common questions about Vet Travel Docs,
veterinary records and document preparation.

What does Vet Travel Docs do?

We organise the information you provide, compare relevant details
with the supporting veterinary records you upload, apply the
requirements for supported journeys and prepare the appropriate
travel document for veterinary review.

Does Vet Travel Docs replace my veterinarian?

No. Your veterinarian remains responsible for veterinary treatment,
professional review, completion, signing, stamping and certification
of the official travel paperwork where required.

What if my travel details change?

Your paid case remains available for 6 months from payment.
You can return during that period to update relevant travel,
owner, pet and veterinary details.

What if some veterinary treatment has not happened yet?

Some requirements are deliberately completed close to travel.
For example, where time-sensitive veterinary treatment is required,
the relevant section can remain for your veterinarian to complete
within the required travel window.

Can I send the prepared document to my veterinarian?

Yes. Where a current prepared document is available, you can send
it to your veterinarian by email or download it yourself.

Do you keep my final signed veterinary certificate?

Vet Travel Docs prepares the paperwork and manages the online case.
The service does not require you to return and store the final
signed veterinary certificate with us.

Does the service support every country and journey?

No. We only make a preparation service available where the journey
and document workflow have been mapped and supported. Check your
journey first to see what is currently available.
